"What I love about my JDK gear; at first glance, the look. The R24 looks like it was ripped out of a WWI tank and is most likely durable enough to withstand a mortar relay. This rugged box has been a workhorse in my studio. I use it on everything. Vocals, AC GTRs, bass, whatever. It sounds so (and I usually hate this word, but) transparent. There are no bright or odd tones or characteristics about it. When flat, it adds a subtle warm feeling, the EQ curves are wide and not sharp, so you don't hear what it's doing, it just gets to work and makes everything sound good. Another thing I love about it is the price. It sounds expensive, without actually being expensive. For just over $1000 you've got yourself a cool little (big) box."
